1856 pattern Saw Back British sidearm in its leather and brass mounted scabbard. Solid brass hilt with ribbed handle and D shaped guard. Scabbard has issue marks stamped on the leather and marked with an 'N' on the frog button to indicate Navy. Heavy saw back blade with its original polished finished. Stamped 'Wilkinson, London' and also stamped with issue marks and with 'N' for naval issue. Very good condition overall but with slight crazing to lacquered leather finish.

Approximately 77.5cm overall and blade 57cm.
