1796 pattern Infantry Officer's sword with partial gilded bronze hilt and a folding guard. Ribbed, sheet copper bound grip. Straight, single edged, tapering blade with engravings of GR, Crown, trophies of arms, Britannia and foliage. Blade reduced in length and heavily cleaned. General wear overall but hilt is solid to blade.

Approximately 92cm overall and blade 76cm.

Note there is no scabbard with this item.
