WW2 France War medal with Defence Passive bar
WW2 France War medal.
The French War medal was awarded to all who served in the French forces.
There were some sixteen bars issued, mainly for the countries or areas the recipient served. Additionally there were "Defence passive" (Civil defence, as this one) and "Engagé Voluntaire" bars.
The medal is not engraved to any named recipient.
The medal is bronze, full size and measures approximately 2.5 cm (1") by 3.5 cm (1.5")..
