A rare survivor and in great condition for its age. This vintage 1930-40's child's play house comprises of four sectional walls with a traditional sloping roof and chimney. The windows are all hinged and open, with the side windows also having louvered wooden shutters. To the front of the house their is a bell pull which is connected to a small bronze bell on the inside. It would certainly appear from the quality of this piece that it was made by a highly skilled cabinet maker, as the detail is truly amazing down to the guttering and drain pipes which have all been expertly crafted and finished off. This item is in its original condition, however it could quite easily be refinished and put back in to use. Please note that we are selling this as a collectors item as it would certainly not meet today's 'toy' standards. The glass is not safety glass and the walls have very simple hook and eye connections to join the panels together. A beautiful piece that has been very well made.
