Victorian Scottish Basket hilted sword, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Regiment, in field scabbard. Basket and scabbard mounts have been re-plated and this sword has clearly been restored at some point. Has old twisted shagreen grip. Acid etched Victorian blade marked with S J Pillin, Gerrard St, Soho and numbered on spine 97795. Blade lightly pitted overall with Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders logo. Generally in restored condition and basket has three separate cracks to bars.

Approximately 103cm overall and blade length 83cm.
