Victorian Infantry Officers sword in its brass scabbard. Pierced brass gothic hilt with folding guard, VR and Crown and copper wire bound shagreen grip. The wear edge of the pommel has an inlaid bone panel to reduce wear on the officers uniform. Acid etched, slightly curved, single edge blade with VR, Crown, Royal Crest and foliage. Marked as by Buckmaster, 3 New Burlington St, London. Blade in generally condition but slight rusting and staining on both sides. Also a number of small dents to scabbard.

Approximately 99cm overall and blade length 82cm.
