Victorian Infantry Officers sword by Hart in it's brass scabbard. Brass gothic hilt with Victoria cypher and a copper wire bound shagreen grip. Has a curved, single edged blade which is acid etched with foliage and Royal cypher on both sides. Marked as retailed by H. Hart, 26 Pall Mall, London. Folding guard to hilt. The broad, curved blade has been field sharpened and there are 3 or 4 small dents to the end of the scabbard. In generally good condition overall and fits well in it's scabbard.

Approximately 99cm overall and blade 81.5cm.
