Very large Chinese chicken ewer dating from 1900 or earlier. Sancai colours - ochre, blue and 2 shades of green. Glaze exhibits nice close fitting craquelure and rainbow iridescence.
Condition: good for age. Recent chip to beak.
Size: height 28 cm, width beak to handle 32 cm.
