US Army National Guard Achievement Medal
The US Army National Guard Achievement Medal was first issued in 1972.
It was originally awarded for four years' honourable service in the Army national Guard. However, in 1995, the required qualifying period of service was reduced to three years. The change was not retrospective.
The medal is not engraved to any named recipient.
The medal is full size and measures approximately 3 cm (1.25") in diameter.
