Model - Tanker Lorry with 'Pool' decals

Date - We believe this example to date from the late 1930s / early 1940s.

Details - In good working order. Retains a working key, but not an original Triang key. Articulated front cab (mechanical horse) and tanker. With headlights. Grey with white 'Pool' decals on the sides and back of the tanker. Black tyres, three missing. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. DimensionsCab - 9cm long Tanker - 11.5cm long Date 1930s 1930s Antiques Material Tinplate Origin English Maker Triang Condition Overall in fair - good condition, with some playwear consistent with age and use. Some fading and grubbiness. In good running order. There is some overall paint scuffing and chipping, heavier to the edges of the cab mudguards and running boards and to the lower edge of the front bumper. Some paint chipping around the edges. The cab is missing its two front tyres, and the other two are misshapen and cracked. The front bumper of the cab and one of the headlights are both slightly bent. The cab mudguards are slightly loose. The cab has some slight surface rusting in places. The tanker has some grubby marks and stains. The rear axel assembly (mudguards) of the tanker are slightly loose, and the mudguards are slightly misshapen. One of the tyres on the tanker is missing, and the other three have some cracking and are slightly misshapen. The tanker side decals have some scraping and loss and are slightly discoloured. The rear tanker decal is slightly discoloured. There is some scuffing and paint loss to the tanker and some slight surface rusting. The key is not original and has some surface rusting.
