Scarce 1857 pattern engineers sword of Lt F S Garwood Bombay sappers and miners ,by Henry Wilkinson no 31235 regulation blade etched with regimental title ,royal arms thunderflash entwined foliage and FS. Garwood within banner regulation brass guard pierced and engraved with acanthus,partly chequered brass grip strap,wire bound fish skin covered grip, good untouched condition , a little age wear overall blade 84cm overall 97cm sword supplied in 1892to Frederick Scott Garwood Bombay Sappers and Miners , no scabbard
