Model 1867 Remington rolling block rifle with the correct sword bayonet . An Egyptian Remington these rifles were sent from the Remington arms co all over the world this one to the Egyptian army . As early breech loading rifles go this was a great success robust and light compared to many other military rifles of the time, it comes with the correct bayonet almost exactly the same as the chassepot but with a slightly smaller slot for the bayonet stud.. obsolete calibre so no F/A/C required. These rifles came in a wide variety of calibres both centre fire and rimfire . Numerous Egyptian markings on the top of the barrel
