Japanese Sword WW2 Katana
Japanese Shin-Gunto Katana. Curved single edged blade with Hi groove 67cm long, tang with writing on both sides, reading Made by Amahide of Noshu province, Seki. 1940 in the tenth month.Total length of sword, blade and tang, 93 cms. Tang has two peg holes, blade has some old rust near the kissaki, please see pictures.
Fittings are standard WW2, push button release on scabbard, tsuba is a replacement, and only one seppa, so loose.
Total length of mounted sword 106cms.
