German Halberd of circa 1550 type? Could be later. Has an iron head with flanged cutting edge and rear shaped spike. The main tapering squared head has armour piercing reinforcement. The head has some lamination to the steel and an armourers mark. There are long, riveted languets on both sides and it is on a later naturalistic haft.

Head with languets is approximately 98cm and overall 141cm.
