Georgian York Militia sword. Note there is no scabbard with this sword. Has a cast brass hilt marked York WR 2B (with D above) and an issue no. of V/1. There is a dark hardwood grip. Broad, curved blade with a single deep fuller. This is stamped with the Samuel Harvey running fox mark (worn). Sword is in good sound condition but age worn overall and has an edge nick to blade.

Approximately 87cm overall and blade 70.5cm.
