George V Infantry Officers sword in leather field scabbard. Sword is marked as retailed by Aldershot Stores, Aldershot. Has a pierced steel guard with silver wire bound shagreen grip and original leather sword know. Acid etched proved blade with GVR, Crown, Royal Coat of Arms and foliage. Numbered on the backstrap 4538. In generally good condition for age but with some age wear and rust staining to hilt.

Approximately 100cm overall and blade 82cm.
