George V British Medical Officer's sword in leather field scabbard. Has a cast bronze gothic hilt with GVR cipher and a copper wire bound shagreen grip. Broad, single edged acid etched blade with GVR cipher, foliage and medical officer logo. Has the Latin inscription 'In arduis Fidelis'. Blade is marked with FPC makers logo and numbered on the spine 1062. Blade has most of its original polish with slight rust staining.

Approximately 102cm overall and blade length 81.5cm.
