This is a model 1804 French cuirassiers Brest plate model 1804 1st empire . As it came to us in uncleaned condition all the brass rivets are present and is undamaged with a good dark age patina. 39 cm high by 34 cm at its widest point these early ones rarely turn up on the market in un polished condition. There’s a small armoury mark at the front which appears to be a flaming bomb.
