Derby Porcelain White Glazed Figure Of A Pug
A sweet early 19th century Derby porcelain figure of a pug on a moulded pad base, left white glazed. Finley modelled and facing slightly to the right. c.1825-30.
Provenance: The Dennis G. Rice Collection.
It measures 6.6cm (2 5/8") high, 5.5cm (2 1/8") long and 3.8cm (1 1/2")wide.
Condition is very good. There is a firing line in the glaze under the belly and a very fine tight glaze level hairline that follows on from this that runs part way over the back. There are also 2 very fine tight glaze lines across the front paws. There is some fine crazing in the shaped areas. No damage, repair or restoration. There are a few nicks under the base but they appear original and under glaze. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
