A fabulous pair of Wilkinson swords to two brothers with very important military careers , the swords are in excellent condition and come in original scabbards and very impressive engraved blades ,
Argyll &Sutherkand Highlanders attributed sword to Brigadiier John Cockburn DSO commanding officer of the 44th Brigade NW Europe 1944
The other sword is too Richard Cockburn he went to the Royal military college at Sandhurst , he joined 808 Squadron , he was awarded the DSO in 1941 , there is quite a lot wrote about him in the book , From men of the Battle of Britain by Kenneth G Wynne , a lovely pair of rare swords to two war heroes
