Brass Hilted Indian Tulwar
An unusual brass hilted Tulwar. The 18th century blade has twin fullers. It does have some rust and pitting and is stained overall. It is beautifully balanced. I am asked many times How can you tell if a sword is good or not so good? Well II always answer with the advice II was given when II first started collecting swords almost fifty years ago. It is this. If you pick a sword up by the grip and feel that with very little effort you could give some thing a good swipe. Then your halfway to holding a good sword.. This sword fulfills that advice.Overall length is 32 inches with a blade length of 26 inches. The style of the hilt maybe means that the sword originated in one of the Indian Islands. Post cost will be £12.00. You must be 18 years old to buy this weapon.
