We have for sale an elegant Bloor Derby porcelain dessert bool dating to somewhere around 1820.

This attractive dessert plate is moulded with a broad border consisting of gilt lined asymmetrical panels, elegantly decorated with a foliate design to the rim all on a white ground. The plate carries the red Bloor period mark to the reverse and dates from somewhere around 1820. This plate is illustrated in the book 'The Pendock Barry Porcelain Service: A Forensic Evaluation' by Denyer, Denyer and Edwards, Springer Nature, 2023, ISBN- 10:3031258126.

The dessert plate is 9.75 inches in diameter and is in a good to very good antique condition other than a some small marks a little bit of staining to the rim, and the fine craquelure typical of Bloor Derby porcelain of this period. The gilt and decoration is in a very good to excellent condition.
