A very early and interesting fret cut Indian shield I would put this at mid 18 century. The shield depicts soldiers With muskets and lions “ a hunt “ it has its original padded grip at the back and the four bosses holding hand hammered rings at the back. The shield is of quite heavy brass. Unusual and decorative very different from the normal Indian shields.
