1908 British cavalry troopers sword a real sleeper , I bought his recently from the family , it’s a lovely example with sword knot and a leather bag attached dated 1915 and you can tell these have always been together , the scabbard and hilt have been painted an unusual sand beige colour , which I have been told have always been that colour as long as they could remember , they told me their Great grandfather served in Egypt and Galliopoli which could explain it a little , but all in all a lovely honest troopers sword that is sure to create a lot of interest ,
