1845 pattern Infantry Officers sword in its original steel scabbard. Marked as by Venn Jermyn St, London. Has a copper wire bound shagreen grip with gothic pierced brass hilt. Slim single edged blade acid etched with VR and foliage in panel. Has most of its original polish but with some rust staining. In good sound condition but some light pitting to scabbard.

Approximately 99cm overall and blade 82cm.
