Elm Windsor Chair - FH Stamp - c1900
This Elm seated Windsor chair is a pleasing shape with stick and splat back and is presented in very good condition.
The design of the chair incorporates a bob-tail and from here twin riser bars elevate to form support for the back hoop. The rear of the bob-tail is stamped with the makers mark FH.
The chair has good seat height (45cm or 17.7") combined with strength in the back and arms and therefore makes an excellent choice as a regular daily use chair (see images for full dimensions).
The Elm seat plate and arm rests display the grain and beauty of the wood superbly.

This chair will make a charming addition to any home and is a nice example of this design. The chair is very comfortable and solid throughout.
