A charming late 19th century Scottish crofter's armchair, this is a sturdy little vernacular piece with a seat height of only 32 cm.

- Spindle back.
- Turned legs, arm supports and styles.
- Splayed back legs, one constructed at more of an angle than the other.
- Tactile concave arms and top rail, smoothed over time and with a lovely patina.
- Seat plank set onto a boxed seat frame.
- Leg tenon joints visible on the seat surface.
- Rustic design, with low seat.

This appealing chair will look great in a cottage, perhaps by a fireplace or wood burning stove.

In good rustic condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
