A fine quality William IV period mahogany library, or stretcher, table. Very well made in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers to the top. This lovely table is of generous proportions and has two drawers to the front. There are "dummy drawers" to the rear so it could be free-standing within a room if desired. The rectangular top is cross banded and the turned trestle ends are united by an under-stretcher. Subtle decoration is afforded by stylised tulip motifs and roundels. It is fitted with its original castors. This splendid table is offered for sale in excellent condition with a superb colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
