William 1V Mahogany Chest on Chest C1830
Antique William 1V Mahogany Chest on Chest and dating from around 1830. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded cornice top above a deep mahogany cross banded frieze and two short drawers over three long drawers. The base has a moulded top above a cross banded frieze and three further graduating drawers. All of the drawers are pine lined with key escutcheons and all have original period turned knob handles. It stands on carved, fluted and turned feet . The top separates for ease of transporting.
Measures 79" high x 20" deep x 45" wide
A Superb William 1V Period Mahogany Chest on Chest and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
