Early 19th.c. oak dresser base from the Wrexham/Shropshire borders area of Wales c.1800. Two plank top with a simple moulded edge. Over three drawers and a two door cupboard with fixed centre panel. Unusual horizonally arranged panels with moulded edges to the surrounding rails and mullions. Turned knobs, applied mouldings and original long stiles. Oak panelled sides and orignal thick oak backboards. Faded paper ownership label handwritten in Welsh inside the centre drawer. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
