Welsh Country Pine Dresser With Plate Rack
Lovely mid size slim 19th century Welsh country pine dresser with shelving / plate rack above the cupboard base, circa 1880.
Great mellow tone to this scrubbed pine dresser which has been beeswax polished to bring up the finish.
The plate rack above is fixed tot he base so it’s totally secure, great for display and also does have the plate rack moulding to each shelf.
Internally, the cupboard base has a fixed shelf and four compartments.
Good overall condition, the classic age related marks from use as these were always hard working pieces of antique furniture.
Unusually slim which suggests this piece may well have been originally placed in an alcove, but makes it a really handy storage piece with a light feel due to its shallow depth.

153cm wide
