Fine quality walnut desk in the manner of Gillows.
This very handsome kidney shaped desk in beautifully figured walnut has a green leather writing surface with gilt edging, three frieze drawers with brass ring handles, one side with three further drawers, the other with dummy drawer fronts opening to shelved interior. The back of the desk has three further dummy frieze drawers and central shelved section.
With normal marks / scuffs / wear commensurate with age and use, overall this really is a super quality desk and needs to be seen to be fully appreciated as it is not done justice by the photographs.
