Late 19th.c. walnut Biedermeier style bookcase c.1860. Two glazed doors with blind panels in the base. Fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 13"). Highly figured honey-coloured walnut veneers across the front and sides laid onto solid pine groundwork. Flared cornice, criss-cross glazing bars, ebony inlaid escutcheons. Raised on a square plinth. Excellent condition with original steel door latches, lock and key. Minor repairs to the veneers, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
