This is a vintage writing desk. An English, mahogany articulated bureau de plait, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.

Fascinating articulated top, with an appealing finish for the keen writer
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Opens to reveal a quality leather writing skiver and seven document trays set above
The rich caramel tanned leather embossed with central medallion and foliate pattern borders
