Fabulous! - This is a beautiful piece by Stratton, signed Baron in fabulous vintage condition, whilst pre-loved, it looks to be totally unused. Depicting a wonderful image of Nadia Nerina as Odette-Odile in Swan Lake - The top is immaculate, all clasps and hinges are in good order opening to a nice clear bevelled mirror, a sifter and a compact in hand puff, a pale blue pouchette and a Stratton box. Measuring 2.3/4" inch with a lovely scalloped edge, this Stratton compact shape was known as the 'Princess'. All in all a fine example of this beautiful book piece (Miller's - A Collectors Guide by Juliette Edwards pg. 35) that will not disappoint!.
