This is such a delightful vintage Clover brand music box which plays very well indeed.

The tune sounds like birdsong.

The original felt pouch and sifter are present.

The lid of this musical powder box is adorned with high quality iridescent mother of pearl & abalone.

An ideal gift.

This music box would make an ideal pearl / 30th wedding anniversary gift.

This box is also a powder box which is suitable to hold loose foundation, if desired.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The inner lid is signed Clover in elegant script.

The gilded brass is lacquered and so it will not tarnish or require cleaning.

The clasps & hinges work perfectly.
