This vintage compact is suitable for use with modern loose face powders or as a handbag mirror

This is a beautiful vintage Mascot powder compact in excellent condition. The lid has a delightful inlaid fabric detail under a protective cover which has kept the material in perfect condition. The inner lid is attractive - vertical & wavy lines & a central raised cartouche bears the Mascot crown emblem. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is very good & gives an excellent reflection. The base is decorated with guilloche engraving.

This vintage powder compact measures 3 " & weighs 72.9 grams.
