An attractive Victorian figured walnut secretaire bookcase, The ogee moulded cornice and beaded frieze above the 2 glazed doors which have applied carved corbels. The doors open to reveal three adjustable walnut faced shelves with working lock & key. The lower section with a full width secretaire drawer which opens to a well fitted interior with various drawers and pigeonholes. Beneath the secretaire are two walnut panelled doors with conforming carved corbels and the whole standing on a plinth base. Condition - Very good. Dimensions:- Height…86’’/ 218.5cm. Max.Width at Cornice 49.75’’/ 126.5cm. Depth of Base…20’’/ 51cm. Depth of Top…11.75’’/ 30cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £75.
