Super quality Victorian period walnut framed barley twist Prie Dieu ( prayer chair ) C1870. With upholstered top rail and padded back flanked by tapering barley twist supports and over stuffed seat with serpentine front rail. Raised on short carved cabriole legs with original brass and pot castors. Recently traditionally re upholstered in a wool weave stripe Abraham Moon fabric.
