A superb pair of Victorian style burr walnut and marquetry inlaid display cabinets or bookcases. Each cabinet has a rectangular shaped top with ebonised moulding and a floral marquetry inlaid frieze in exotic woods against an ebonised background with brass beading below. The stiles have very good mounts and conforming marquetry, the glazed doors having boxwood stringing and brass beading and ornate escutcheons. The cabinets raised on plinth bases with turned feet. These superb cabinets are a true pair, one left handed and one right handed and have working locks and keys. Condition- Fine and re-lined. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £90.
