This is an antique, Victorian silver plated chamberstick dating to c.1901.

Simple and elegant, this modestly designed chamberstick features the original push fit sconce atop the cupped candle column, all sitting within a generously dished wax pan with ridged edge detail.

The typical pointed snuffer, terminating with a bead, is hosted neatly onto the 'C' scrolled handle that is decorated with a fern leaf detail that lips up for steady handling.

The desirable aged finish of the plating testament to it's age and use. The underside carrying the plating marks "1901, A1, RR, Warranted Hard Soldered, 1525".
