Victorian Pollard Oak Glazed Bookcase Display Cabi
Antique large Victorian (C1880- 1900) pollard oak (looks a little like burr walnut) glazed bookcase display cabinet cupboard.
This is a lovely rare quality bookcase (Thomas Turner of Manchester), that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid, with no loose joints. Splits into 3 sections for transport.
We have a key for the glazed doors only.
No woodworm.
Has lovely thick bevel edge glass...would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 150cmW x 44cmD x 183cmH.
3 adjustable shelves 132cmW x 32cmD (plus bottom) to the glazed section.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are a few minor veneer imperfections/repairs.... nothing bad or very noticeable, as is to be expected and in keeping.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
