A Victorian Pine Newham and Son’s Fishermans Chest

This is a best quality box, it has an original scumble finish and the interior is lined with the original decorative paper, the interior label states that it is Waterproof, possibly why it has been chosen to be overpainted for Kings Weir Fisheries Angling Society
The box has heavy iron Banding on the outside, blacksmith made strap hinges and carrying handles
This is a piece of superb quality with some wear to the finish

The box measures 31’’ wide x 17’’ deep and stands 18’’ high
