Very Handsome Victorian Country House Golden Oak Tallboy Cupboard on Chest of Four Full Width Drawers. Lovely quality quarter sawn oak ......made by a named regional cabinetmaker...super colour ....original turned wooden handles...good clean linings......raised on shaped bracket feet. Statement scale and lots of character storage.
English : Circa 1860
Note: Cabinet Maker Robert Orchard is recorded in the Ashby de la Zouch 1881 census as a Cabinet Maker employing 6 men and 2 apprentices.
