This is a top quality breakfront bookcase cabinet. It is made in solid oak and is Victorian, dating to around 1880. There is something of the Gothic Reform with the chamfered design around the doors. The bookcase sits on a plinth base. It has three drawers at the top, each with convex shaped drawer fronts. Below, there are two glass fronted doors and a central oak door. The cupboards are shelved with polished oak fronts to the shelves and these shelves are adjustable. The doors have original locks and the cabinet comes with its key.

This is such a handsome breakfront bookcase cabinet. It will store a lot of books and objet d'art and would look beautiful in a home library or in a principal room furnished in period antiques or oak.

The condition is very good with no sign of worm or damage and the oak is beautifully polished. A very good piece.

The bookcase is 50 inches high and 56 inches wide 15 inches deep.
