Antique Victorian marble sample table on gilt ebonised 19C Victorian base.

This is a lovely table, which is full of character, age and charm. Amazing marble top of a very high quality....these are very sought after.

We are unsure of the exact age of this table, but believe that the base originates from the Victorian period, but the amazing top may be later.

There have been some historic repairs to the base, but all is solid now with no loose joints, although there is still a little flexing when wobbled, owing to the heavy top.

610mm diameter x 675mmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, distortion, imperfections, scratches, chips, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture and generally desirable.
