Original antique mahogany Victorian Wellington chest in good condition & dating from around the 1860-70’s period. Like all these models, it has seven drawers that are graduated in depth & have turned mahogany handles. There is a locking bar on the right hand side, which I don’t think we have a key for at present, but could be provided if wanted. This chest also has original carved corbels on the top & sits on a plinth base. These Wellington chests are becoming increasingly popular, mainly because of their useful size & storage capacity, but also because they just look great.
