This is a very good Victorian two door mahogany wardrobe in a richly grained warm coloured mahogany featuring arched flame mahogany door panels. It is in great condition and all the drawers slide easily. For moving and delivery it is easily split into four sections (see below).

It has a moulded cornice above two doors and stands on a plinth base. The right door is fitted with a lock which comes with a key and there are brass catches to the left door.

There is plenty of storage space with a hanging rails and hooks to both sides and four dovetailed drawers with brass cup handles. The hanging sections are lined in what may be the original blue fabric which the new owner may want to remove or replace.

CONDITION

This is in good condition for its age and has a lovely warm colour. It has the usual minor losses/nibbles to the veneer on edges and scuffs to the plinth. There are two bubbles to the veneer on the left side near the bottom but it feels firm to press and there is another to the right side of the cornice frieze. There is also a small fade patch at the left side of the front.
