Victorian Mahogany Pedestal Desk with Slope
A fabulous Victorian pedestal desk in refurbished condition, this is ready for the home and has a wonderful writing slope ideal for working at a laptop.
- Gilt tooled black leather writing surfaces inset to the central writing slope and on the flat surfaces either side.
- Writing slope lid lifts and is kept open with a hinged prop.
- Inside, there are two drawers with decorative birds eye wood fronts and an ebonised finish to the borders and knobs.
- Below the internal drawers are 5 cubby holes, with attractive shaped tops.
- Pedestals with 3 drawers each and a fourth drawer either side in the desk above.
- Two drawers either side on the desk top, each with a gallery rail.
- Central guard rail behind the writing slope.
This is a lovely desk and will look great in a home office, or a traditional business office interior. The leather on the writing slope will give some grip to a laptop and make an ideal slope for it. It has plenty of drawer space and room for stationery items beneath the slope.
In good condition, refinished and ready for the home. No key is available, but the locks are present.
