French Walnut And Brass Mounted Writing Table
Very decorative French Louis XV style writing table or dressing table with all original brass mounts and marquetry panel to the top with a full width drawer, circa 1920 and in good condition.
This table is finished to the rear so can free stand as a centre table too if required.
Wonderful shaping to the legs and the serpentine sides give the table a real elegance and wonderful colour.
Good consistent colour throughout the top and all sides, please forgive my photography as it looks like the top is a different colour…which it isn’t!
Measuring:
29 1/2 inches or 75 cm high
39 3/4 inches or 101 cm wide
23 3/4 inches or 60.5 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
